The American Diabetes Association (ADA) is the nation's leading voluntary health organization supporting diabetes research, information and advocacy. The mission of the Association is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. Founded in 1940, the Association provides service to hundreds of communities across the country conducting programs in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.
The ADA selected the Nakisa OrgManagement Series and implemented Nakisa OrgChart and Nakisa Directory modules to meet their needs. Deployed enterprise-wide to all ADA employees, the Organizational Management solution helps the Association to view their organization through online, real-time organizational charts. Employees benefit from data visualization and drill-down of the charting solution and can access the ADA employee directory using only a web-browser to run advanced searches to locate the people, resources or addresses they require to communicate and perform their jobs. With information confidentiality top of mind, the solution was securely implemented to ensure that only authorized individuals have access to sensitive data while all other employees can get the basic information they need quickly and easily.
